Josef Mizzi is a qualified and experienced counsellor currently employed full-time at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST), where he provides counselling services to students. In addition to his primary role, he holds part-time counselling positions with both Richmond Foundation and SOS Malta. He also runs a private practice, offering support to clients of all ages and addressing a diverse range of psychological and emotional issues.

From 2020 to 2023, he served on the Council for the Counselling Profession in Malta, contributing to the development and regulation of professional counselling standards in the country.

He is currently serving his second term as President of the Malta Association for the Counselling Profession and holds the position of Vice-Chairperson of the Interim Leadership Team of IAC-Europe (International Association for Counselling – Europe). His work reflects a deep commitment to the advancement of the counselling profession both locally and at the European level.
